Another week almost over.....

We finally went out and purchased carpet for Sarah’s room and hope to have her room completely done in another week or two. It’s been very exciting to know that we are so close but also a huge test of patience. I just want to finish packing and off we go…. But the reality is we do still have a good month or so to go before we hit that point. In the meantime we celebrated Samuel’s 5th Birthday this past Sunday, his first “official” party with 6 of his little friends, balloons and a big home made Dinosaur Cake. It was a lot of fun and certainly made this past week go by very fast.

I finished up our final packing list, picked out Sarah’s Gotcha Day and Civil Affairs outfits; I just hope one of the two sizes will fit her then Mommy and Sarah will get to go shopping after the official stuff is done later that week. We are still undecided on whether we will spend one or two days in Beijing site seeing ... it will be difficult to be in China so close but yet have to wait another day or two to hold Sarah in our arms... but yet as amazing to be able to see some of the great wonders of China such as the Forbidden City and the Great Wall.

The Wait

Well good news seems to be coming regularly now, we finally were able to get our LOI (Letter of Intend) date from the agency and yesterday we were informed that or LOA had arrived. Man things are getting exciting, thought we were coasting into home base but now it almost here and we have so much to do. Angie has her multitude of things to prepare, for those who know Angie it's no surprise, she is the most organized woman I have ever known, for those that don't, lets just say there is a list for everything. It's a good thing though, she keeps us all in line and keeps the ball rolling. I on the other hand have my own things to accomplish before our little Sarah joins us, have been attempting to get her room finished but with the cold weather that has hit us working in the garage is next to impossible so I have been trying to do what I can in her room. Staining just isn't that fun in an enclosed area, but a couple here a couple there and we will get it done. Plan on getting her carpet this weekend, she is sure going to have a "girls" room, will be really cute, which will match her perfectly. We will definitely be posting some pictures when we have it finished. It has been quite a transformation in the house, moving the office, both boys moving into different rooms, and transforming her room from a little boys room full of trucks and tractors to butterflies and ladybugs. Well they are our joy so it's all worth it in the end. Have to run, will update as more happens. Till then, stay tuned!

Its beginning to be very very real.........

.... after 75 days since LID we received our Letter of Acceptance from the CCAA which we will sign and send back right away on Monday. This means in a few weeks we should have our TA and Sarah here we come to bring you home angel.

Wow it seems to strange all this time all this wait, I feel like we have a million things still to do. But as we are now getting closer to travel I figure its blogging time.
