For the Love of a Child!

I wanted to bring everyone’s attention to a new site brought up by a wonderful friend, another amazing example that if we all stick together for what we believe in for what is in our hearts for what God strives us to do, it can be done!

Go take a look at For the Love of a Child, go grab the button and spread the word.

Moving on :-)

Ok keeping three sites up now that we are bringing Shawn home is just to much so we are consolidation all the fam members to the main site including Sarah since its all about the kids anyway. I found this great site that will allow me to download her blog into a book edition for her to hang onto for later. All my kids have a chest of sort that we use especially for the early years to keep their special items in such as baby blankets etc. so I will add this book to Sarah's collection of keep sakes. Moving Forward please visit us now at itsourmotto.blogspot.com to see how the kids are doing or to follow our brining home of Shawn just click on the link from that site called "Journey to Shawn"

Thank you to all for following our Journey to bring Sarah home and we hope you will join us as we bring Shawn home and our little familie continues to grow.

What's new in Sarah's world... well she very very much enjoys Early Childhood at school even more then I expected. She has her very Sarah' Like stubborn days and will test the teacher but her teacher seems to do an excellent job in dealing with her. She is in a class with about 5 other kids and two teachers and they are doing an awesome job. She also likes her daycare she only spends one full day a week there so she never seems board. She is getting much better about her eating though when she really does like something you literally have to tell her to slow down or she will just simply inhale the food. We are still working on potty training at night but that may be a bit. But overall she is doing great. Her last 6 months exams where great she is growing like a little flower and I just can not imagine how life was before she was part of our family I do believe in my heart that she was meant to be here with us as our daughter and sister.

If you feel that you want to join a good cause and help us support the kids in China please visit www.theELISONproject.org the heart of a dear friend of mine, learn about what you can do to help!

Till then xoxox

First day of school..

Sarah had her first day of school this week so did the boys. But for her I was really really nervous she still after all is my baby and to imagine her going on a bus even though only two blocks away ahhh ... but she did great and really seems to like her teacher. She is just so proud of being on the bus and going to school like her brothers it is really really cute....

About Our Family Site

We decided it is time to switch sites from that of the one we created for the journey to our daughter Sarah to one that keeps everyone updated on the whole family. We will still update Sarah’s site as it may pertain to things special to her as we will create a site special for her brother as we near that journey which really we have already begun.

In Loving Memory of Max

How do you say goodby...

.... no matter how much you want the pain to end no matter how you think you are prepared..... you never are! He left in the best way we can hope for to go to sleep and meet his maker. Now he is a pup again, he can run and jump and the pain and aches of old age are gone...

So with heavy hearts and deep sorrow we say goodby to our beloved Dog Max... he would have been 13 in two weeks... the world could never ask for a better soul and heart in a dog then his.

MAX WE LOVE YOU AND WE WILL MISS YOU TERRIBLY!!
Garry, Angie, Steven, Samuel and Sarah and Mittens, Chance and Tessa too!
